The Swiss ski resort of Verbier is located just over an hour away from Chamonix. Situated in the Valais Canton of Switzerland, Verbier is one of the largest linked skiing areas in the Swiss Alps and is well known for the quality and quantity of off-piste available.
The skiing in Verbier is something to behold. There are over 400 kilometres of skiable area's across four valleys which are made up from the interlinking resorts of Verbier, Thyon, Nendaz and Veysonnaz.
The endless amount of off piste skiing, glacier heli-skiing (pre booked only) long linked groomed trails and beginner-specific runs makes a day in Verbier a must and can be as challenging or as relaxed as you like.
